About our Fitness Training

The Whole Body Fitness Spa offers a wide range of options to help you reach your fitness goals from individualized personal training programs to group fitness classes and yoga.

We use various forms of non machine & machine based training programs. Some of our programs use pilates large & small equipment combined with mat work. We also have a cardio room and offer group fitness classes.

 

Personal Training

Our one-on-one personal training program is designed specifically for you. Training programs include a balance of exercise (cardiovascular, resistance/weight training, use of traditional or functional training methods, and flexibility), nutrition, and stress management. Our personal trainers provide the motivation, professional expertise, and personalized attention you’re looking for.

All of our personal training clients start off with a one-hour fitness/wellness assessment to determine the ideal program for their fitness level and long term fitness goals. This assessment includes cardiovascular testing, body composition, blood pressure, weight, resting heart rate, muscular endurance, joint flexibility, postural assessment, and wellness assessment. This session is also used to discuss your individual goals, motivation and nutrition basics.

These tests and discussions help establish a baseline fitness level or a starting point, and the information is used to develop a specific program to meet your needs and goals.

Group Fitness Classes

The Whole Body Spa offers a variety of group fitness classes including Pilates Mat, Yoga, Bootcamp, and Fusion as well as complementary classes and workshops in areas such as meditation, foam rolling, and more. See our Group Fitness Schedule for an up-to-date class offerings.

 

Yoga

We offer various styles of yoga classes in our cork floor fitness room. Our instructors take the time to fit yoga sessions to the needs of the group. If you are new to yoga, or have any movement restrictions, our instructors guide you through poses and make adjustments as necessary.

 

Pilates

The Whole Body Spa was the first and still the only Complete Professional Pilates Studio in the area. We offer private and semi-private equipment sessions and pilates group classes on the mat integrated with small equipment. With a relaxing environment and professional instruction, you receive superior results.

 

Cardio

The Whole Body Spa is equipped with 4 commercial grade cardio machines manufactured by Precor. Various options are available for use of these machines; we offer their use for a small fee or you can include their use as part of your fitness training package.
